Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZeroDeploy (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ZeroDeploy is a deployment platform for static websites and single-page applications (SPAs). The Service allows you to deploy, host, and manage web applications.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Authenticate via GitHub OAuth
  • Provide accurate account information
  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Not have been previously banned from the Service

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Host malware, phishing sites, or malicious content
  • Distribute copyrighted material without authorization
  • Host illegal content under applicable laws
  • Engage in cryptocurrency mining or resource abuse
  • Attack or attempt to compromise the Service or other users
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance.

If payment fails, we may suspend your account after a grace period. You remain responsible for any unpaid fees.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes.

7. Content and Data

You retain ownership of content you deploy. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host, serve, and cache your content as necessary to provide the Service.

You are responsible for backing up your content. We are not liable for data loss.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZeroDeploy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at dmca@zerodeploy.dev with the required DMCA notice information.

10. Inactivity Policy

Free-tier sites with no account activity for 3 consecutive months may be suspended and taken offline. We will send an email notification before suspension. If the site remains inactive for an additional 3 months (6 months total), the site and all associated data may be permanently deleted.

You can prevent suspension or deletion by logging in to the dashboard or deploying to your site. Paid plans are not subject to inactivity rules.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time using the CLI command zerodeploy account delete. This permanently removes all your data including organizations, sites, and deployments.

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
